Apple Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    3/4 c. Crisco
    1/2 tsp. soda
    apples, diced
    1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    salt
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix as for pie crust.
    Roll out 1/2 to 1-inch thick.
    Spread diced apples over.
    Sprinkle cinnamon and roll like jelly roll. Cut in 1-inch slices.
    Arrange in baking dish which has syrup of sugar and water (dissolve about 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water). Bake 1/2 hour.
    Turn off oven and leave until apples are cooked at 350\u00b0 or 375\u00b0 (whichever, you know your oven).
