Chocolate Steam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour (all-purpose)
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 c. shortening
    4 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 c. water
    1 stick margarine
    4 Tbsp. cocoa
    6 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Grease a 16 x 11-inch pan.
    Sift together in large mixing bowl sugar and flour.
    Set aside.
    In saucepan, mix margarine, shortening, cocoa and water.
    Bring to a rapid boil, then pour over sugar and flour mixture.
    Dissolve 1 teaspoon soda in 1 cup buttermilk.
    Mix well and add to other ingredients.
    Pour into greased pan and bake 20 minutes.
    Five minutes before cake is done, bring to boil margarine, cocoa and milk.
    Remove from heat and mix in 1 box sifted powdered sugar. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 cup chopped nuts.
    Mix well and pour over cake while hot.
    Place lid on cake pan and wrap a wet, heavy towel around both.
    Let towel remain on pan until cold.
