Apple Blossom Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 Rome apples, peeled and sliced
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. water
    3 to 4 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/8 tsp. salt
    unbaked pastry for double crust pie
    half and half
Preparation
    In a saucepan, combine apples, 1/4 cup sugar and 3/4 cup water.
    Cook until apples are tender.
    Reserve 3/4 cup cooking liquid.
