Daffodil Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 egg yolks
    6 Tbsp. cold water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. lemon flavoring
    6 egg whites
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks and add cold water and 1/2 cup sugar.
    Beat until thick and lemon colored.
    Fold in flour (1/2 cup) and baking powder.
    Add lemon flavoring.
    Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
    Beat egg whites, salt and cream of tartar until stiff.
    Add 1 cup sugar, 3/4 cup flour and vanilla.
    Pour over ingredients in tube pan.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
