French Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3 large onions
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
    5 c. beef broth
    4 slices French bread
    4 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
    8 Tbsp. grated Mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese
Preparation
    In heavy saucepan, melt butter.
    Add sliced onions and cook slowly, stirring occasionally, until golden.
    Sprinkle on the flour and stir for a few minutes.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Add broth, stirring constantly.
    Bring to a boil; lower heat and simmer, partially covered, for 30 minutes.
