Pineapple Dessert Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yellow cake mix
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. vanilla pudding (not instant)
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    2 pkg. dessert topping mix or 1 large Cool Whip
    1 small jar maraschino cherries
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix according to directions on package.
    Bake in a greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan at 350\u00b0.
    Cool cake.
    Cook pudding according to package until thickened.
    Cut cream cheese into hot pudding; mix until well blended.
    Add well drained pineapple; spread over cake.
    Cool thoroughly.
    Spread with whipped topping.
    Garnish with cherries and nuts.
    Keep refrigerated.
