Sweet And Sour Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 large head cabbage, shredded
1 tsp. bacon drippings
1 c. vinegar
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Cover cabbage with boiling water and let set 10 minutes, then drain.
Add bacon drippings, vinegar, sugar, water, salt and pepper.
Boil about 20 minutes.
