Perfect Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1 3/4 c. Crisco shortening
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 large egg
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Put dry ingredients into bowl and mix well with a fork.
    Add shortening and mix well with a pastry blender until ingredients are crumbly.
    In a small bowl, beat together 1/2 cup water, vinegar and egg.
    Combine the 2 mixtures, stirring until all ingredients are moistened.
    Divide dough into 5 portions and shape into flat rounds.
    Wrap in waxed paper and chill at least 1/2 hour before using.
    This dough can be frozen for future use.
