Pork Chop And Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 thick pork chops
    dash of pepper
    1/2 onion, chopped
    1/2 green pepper, chopped (optional)
    1 can beef consomme
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. raw rice
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Season chops with salt and pepper (or seasoning salt); brown in fat.
    Remove chops to casserole; saute onion and green pepper in fat.
    Add rice to casserole; pour in consomme and water.
    Place onion and green pepper on top of chops.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour or until rice absorbs all liquid in a covered dish.
