Devil'S Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 sq. chocolate
3 egg yolks
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
6 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. soda
3 egg whites, beaten

Preparation

Melt chocolate in top of a double boiler.
Beat egg yolks and milk together.
Combine with chocolate and salt.
Cook until thick.
Remove from heat; add sugar and butter.
Blend well. Cool.
Add vanilla.
