Baked Apples With Raisins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 cored whole apples (Rome)
    1 c. white or dark raisins or currants
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 stick margarine or butter (optional)
Preparation
    Place cored apples in a deep baking dish.
    Simmer raisins in water for about 10 minutes.
    Divide raisins into apples. Sprinkle cinnamon and cloves over the apples.
    Add a small amount of extra water and margarine or butter.
    Cover; cook in microwave on High for 15 minutes.
    Check for the firmness you would like.
