Baked Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 squash (yellow)
    1 large onion
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 to 1 c. grated Colby cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook squash in boiling, salted water until tender.
    (Cut squash in thin slices before cooking.)
    Drain off water, mash squash and add pepper, butter and cheese.
    Mix well.
    Put in Pyrex dish; bake at 350\u00b0 in oven for about 20 to 25 minutes.
    Let squash begin bubbling.
    Take out of oven and let stand for about 5 minutes.
