Caramel Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
3/4 c. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. milk
Preparation

Melt butter; add sugar.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly for 2 minutes.
Add milk.
Bring to full boil.
Remove and add 3 1/2 cups xxxx sugar, then beat.
Adjust the thickness of icing by using either more or less sugar.
Add vanilla, if desired.
