Washington Apple Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Golden Delicious apples
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    2 c. breadcrumbs
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Core and chop apples.
    Pour butter or margarine over breadcrumbs.
    In a well-buttered 1 1/2-quart baking dish, layer 1/2 of the breadcrumbs, then 1/2 of the apples.
    Sprinkle 1/2 the sugar and nutmeg and repeat.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Serves 4 to 6.
