Elaine'S Green Chili Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken
    2 qt. water
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. flavor enhancer
    1 c. chopped onions
    4 boiled eggs, chopped
    2 cans chopped green chilies
    3 Tbsp. pimientos, chopped
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. plus 1 tsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Boil chicken in water with salt and flavor enhancer until chicken is tender.
    Debone chicken, discarding skin.
    Chop into bite size pieces.
    Put chicken into pot with 1 1/2-quarts chicken broth.
    Add onions, eggs, chilies, pimientos and black pepper. Cook 5 minutes.
    Stir together cornstarch and 1/2 cup milk, then add the other 1/2 cup milk.
    Add this to boiling chicken mixture, stirring constantly until thickened.
    Serve over rice.
    Serves 6 to 8.
