Mother'S Potato Salad Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 heaping Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard or to taste
    1 egg
    1 c. cream or milk
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Place sugar, vinegar and butter in heavy pan; let come to a boil.
    Blend together remaining ingredients and add to the boiling mixture.
    Stir until it comes to a hard boil.
    Take from heat; add some salad dressing.
    Keeps well in refrigerator.
    Use this dressing with chopped potatoes, celery, onion and eggs.
