Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg, beaten
    2 Tbsp. melted shortening
    1/2 c. orange juice
    1 c. halved cranberries
    2 Tbsp. hot water
Preparation
    Mix and sift dry ingredients.
    Fold in wet ingredients, saving hot water until last.
    Mix well.
    Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
    Wrap in wax paper while still hot from oven.
    Chill in refrigerator for approximately 3 hours.
