Lemon Sponge Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
butter (size of egg), melted
2 eggs, separated
juice and grated rind of 1 lemon
1 c. milk
Preparation

Cream together melted butter, sugar and flour.
Add yolks of eggs, beaten to a cream.
Then add juice and grated rind of lemon and milk.
Add whites of eggs, beaten to a froth.
Line a 9-inch pie plate with pastry, unbaked and pour in filling.
Bake 25 minutes at 400\u00b0.
Decrease heat to 350\u00b0 and bake 10 minutes longer.
