Nancy'S Coconut Crunch Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. graham cracker crumbs
    1/2 c. coconut
    1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
    4 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    butter brickle ice cream (optional)
Preparation
    Combine cracker crumbs, coconut and nuts. Beat egg whites with salt and vanilla until foamy. Gradually add sugar and continue beating until egg whites form stiff peaks. Fold cracker mixture into egg white mixture. Spread in well-greased 9-inch pie plate or 10 x 6 x 1 1/2-inch baking pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes. Cool. Cut in wedges and top with ice cream, if desired.
