Sour Cream Rice With Chilies(Microwave) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. uncooked instant rice
    2 c. chicken broth
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 (4 oz.) can mild green chilies, drained
Preparation
    Mix rice, broth and garlic in a 2-quart casserole.
    Cover tightly; microwave on High 9 to 10 minutes.
    Stir in half of the cheese, sour cream and chilies.
    Cover and microwave for 2 to 3 minutes.
    Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
    Cover and let stand about 4 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
