Double Chocolate Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 c. cocoa
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In large mixer bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
    Gradually blend into creamed mixture.
    Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake 8 to 9 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Do not overbake; cookies will be soft.
    They will puff while baking and flatten while cooling.
    Cool sightly; remove from cookie sheet onto wire rack.
    Cool completely.
    Makes about 4 1/2 dozen.
