Greek Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
5 eggs
juice of 1 orange
2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. canola oil
4 apples, sliced
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Cream together eggs and 1 1/2 cups sugar well. Add flour, baking powder and oil. Mix thoroughly. Add juice of 1 orange and vanilla. Pare, core and slice 4 apples. Mix with cinnamon and 1 tablespoon sugar. Pour egg batter into round (9-inch) cake pan and spread half of apple mixture over batter. Spread rest of batter over apple mixture and bake cake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
