Southern Georgia Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour (all-purpose)
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. cocoa
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. butter, softened
    1 1/2 c. milk
    3 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. light cream (half and half)
    3 eggs
Preparation
    Into
    bowl of mixer, sift together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
    Make a well in center of dry ingredients and add butter, milk and vanilla.
    Beat with dry ingredients for
    5 minutes.
    Add
    cream
    and
    eggs,
    one
    at a time, beating thoroughly\tafter
    each.
    Pour batter into well-oiled 10-inch tube pan
    or Bundt pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or
    until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
    Cool completely on wire rack. Freezes well.
