Old Fashioned Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. plain flour, sifted
    6 eggs
    10 Tbsp. Crisco
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 stick butter
    2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cream the butter, sugar and Crisco for 8 minutes or until very fluffy.
    Add eggs, vanilla and flour.
    Mix very well.
    Bake in a greased and floured tube pan for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick comes out clean.
    Frost with Lemon Glaze.
