Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. yellow cake mix, baked according to directions on box
    1 large family size vanilla instant pudding, prepared
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    2 cans strawberry pie filling or any other flavor pie filling (e.g. blueberry, cherry, etc.)
    2 large cartons frozen whipped topping
    2 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation
    In bottom of an 8 1/2-quart punch bowl, crumble half the cooked, cooled cake.
    Layer 1/2 pudding, 1/2 crushed pineapple, 1 can pie filling, 1 carton whipped topping and 1 cup pecans. Repeat process using remaining ingredients in the same order. Chill 24 hours.
