Cherry Pecan Quick Bread - cooking recipe

1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sifted flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
10 oz. jar maraschino cherries, chopped and drained
1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour a 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan. In a large bowl, combine butter, sugar and eggs; beat with mixer until creamy. Add soda, salt, flour and buttermilk. Mix on low until blended. Fold in vanilla, cherries and nuts. Bake 60 minutes.
