Molasses Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked (9-inch) deep dish pie shell
    3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 c. dark corn syrup (Karo)
    3 eggs, well beaten
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Place pastry in pie plate; prick bottom and press sides with fork.
    Crimp edges.
