Old Fashioned Sugar Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    scant 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 pt. whipping cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    unbaked 9-inch pie shell
    cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Sift together sugar, flour and salt.
    Stir in 1 cup cream to make a paste.
    Stir paste until very smooth, then add the remaining cup cream.
    Beat lightly.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell; sprinkle with cinnamon and dot with 1 tablespoon butter. Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 15 or 20 minutes.
    Reduce temperature to 325\u00b0 or 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
