Fruit Cocktail Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. white sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
3 Tbsp. hot water
2 Tbsp. molasses
3 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. raisins
1 c. drained fruit cocktail
1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs.
Dissolve baking soda in hot water; add molasses.
Sift dry ingredients together and add to molasses, then add creamed mixture.
Fold in raisins and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls on sprayed cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
These cookies keep well.
