Lemon-Orange Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon jello
    1 can lemon pie filling
    1 can mandarin oranges, cut up and drained
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, drained
    2 c. hot water
    1 (12 oz.) container Cool Whip
Preparation
    Dissolve the jello in the 2 cups hot water.
    Blend in pie filling until smooth.
    Add orange pieces and drained pineapple. Put in a 9 x 12-inch dish.
    Refrigerate.
    Before serving, frost with the Cool Whip.
    Use as dessert or salad.
    Very tasty.
