Hickory Nut Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
1 c. dark corn syrup
1/4 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 Tbsp. flour
1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. water
3/4 c. hickory nutmeats
Preparation

Combine sugar, flour and salt.
Add beaten eggs.
Mix water with syrup and combine with egg mixture.
Add the nuts and butter last.
Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350\u00b0 and bake 35 minutes longer. Yields one 9-inch pie.
