Skillet Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 bacon slices, cut
    1 small thinly sliced onion
    1 medium green head cabbage, shredded
    2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    black pepper to taste (if desired)
    1 pod hot pepper (optional)
Preparation
    In large skillet over medium heat, fry bacon and onion until onion is tender, about 5 minutes.
    Add remaining ingredients and cook, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is tender, about 10 minutes.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
