Homespun-Meat Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
1 egg
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
2 c. chopped potatoes, cooked
3 Tbsp. milk
1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Combine meat, mushrooms, egg, onion, bread crumbs and seasonings; mix lightly.
Press meat mixture onto bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Remove meat shell from oven.
Reduce oven temperature to 350\u00b0.
Drain excess fat from meat shell.
Mash hot potatoes with milk.
Stir in process cheese, parsley and salt.
Fill hot meat shell with potato mixture.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Makes 6 servings.
