Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. meal (plain)
1/2 c. flour
1 small onion, chopped
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt or to taste
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. milk
1 small can creamed corn
1 Tbsp. milk

Preparation

Mix all ingredients well.
Store in refrigerator until chilled.
Drop by teaspoonful in deep hot grease.
