Fisherman'S Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes (1 3/4 lb.)
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 cloves garlic
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/4 c. salad oil
    1/8 tsp. thyme
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Peel potatoes and cut into 1/4's.
    Fine chop garlic.
    Place 1/2 of potatoes in 1 1/2-quart casserole dish. Add onion, salt, pepper and thyme on top.
    Add remaining potatoes. Pour oil on top.
    Bake, covered, 1 hour.
