Frosted Pumpkin Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. pumpkin
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. each: butterscotch bits, nuts and raisins

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar together.
Add pumpkin and egg. Mix flour, soda, cinnamon and salt and mix this into the creamed mixture.
Stir in the butterscotch bits, nuts and raisins.
Spoon the cookie dough onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 375\u00b0.
