Almond Crescents - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. almond extract
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. finely chopped almonds
    confectioners sugar
    red and green sugar
Preparation
    Cream margarine and add sugar; blend in almond extract.
    Add flour and salt.
    Mix well.
    Stir in nuts; chill.
    Shape rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into crescents; place on ungreased baking sheets.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Sprinkle with confectioners sugar or colored sugar.
    Makes 5 dozen cookies.
