Chicken Cacciatori - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 lb. broiler fryers, cut up
    6 Tbsp. salad oil
    1 c. onion, cut up
    3/4 c. green peppers, cut up
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 can tomatoes (28 oz.)
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 c. Chiantior or red wine
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 tsp. allspice and thyme
    2 bay leaves
    dash of cayenne
Preparation
    In hot oil in large skillet, cook chickens until evenly browned.
    Add onions, green peppers and garlic; brown lightly. Add rest of ingredients.
    Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes or until chicken is tender.
    Makes 8 servings.
    Sauce is delicious when served over cooked thin spaghetti.
