Scripture Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. Judges 5:25 (last clause) (1/2 c. butter)
1 c. Jeremiah 6:20 (1 c. sugar)
3 Jeremiah 17:11 (3 eggs, beaten)
1 Tbsp. 1 Samuel 17:25 (1 Tbsp. honey)
2 1/4 c. 1 Kings 4:22 (2 1/4 c. flour)
1 tsp. Amos 4:22 (1 tsp. baking powder)
2 Chronicles 9:9 to taste (1 tsp. cinnamon and nutmeg)
Leviticus 2:13 (pinch of salt)
3/4 c. Judges 4:19 (last clause) (3/4 c. milk)
1 c. Samuel 30:12 (1 c. raisins)
1 c. Nahum 3:12 (1 c. figs, chopped)
1/2 c. Numbers 17:8 (1/2 c. almonds, chopped)
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs.
Beat well.
Slowly stir in honey.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Add flour mixture and milk alternately to the creamed mixture, beating well after each addition.
Fold in chopped nuts, figs and raisins.
Pour batter into four well-greased and floured 6 x 3-inch miniature loaf pans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
Makes four small cakes.
