Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 sticks margarine
2 2/3 c. sugar
3 1/2 c. sifted flour
8 extra large eggs
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. pure vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and gradually add the sugar.
Beat until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, two at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add milk and vanilla.
Gradually add flour, beating at medium speed on mixer until well mixed.
Turn mixer to low and continue beating for 10 minutes.
Turn into angel food cake pan and bake 1 hour and 25 minutes or until when long straw is inserted it comes out clean.
