Scripture Cake(Apple Raisin Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
5 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
3 Tbsp. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
3/4 c. milk
1 1/2 c. apples, pared, cored and diced
1/2 c. raisins

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Sift
dry
ingredients
together. Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg\tto
butter
mixture.
Add dry ingredients alternately with milk.\tMix
in apples and raisins. Pour into greased loaf pan.
Bake approximately 90 minutes.
