Christmas Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. cranberry juice
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. orange juice
    1 c. pineapple juice
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    2 c. chilled ginger ale
    1 pint pineapple sherbet
Preparation
    Blend the cranberry juice, sugar, fruit juices, and almond extract.
    Refrigerate, covered until serving time.
    Just before serving, stir in ginger ale and sherbet.
