Soft Pretzels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1 1/2 c. warm water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    4 c. flour
    1 beaten egg
    coarse salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Dissolve yeast in warm water; add sugar and salt.
    Blend in flour.
    Knead until smooth.
    Cut into 10 to 12 pieces, roll into ropes and twist into desired shapes.
    Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse salt.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
