Raisin Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. water
1/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
pinch of nutmeg or lemon rind
1/2 c. raisins
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. flour
Preparation
-
Boil water, raisins, sugar and salt 15 minutes.
Melt butter and stir into flour.
Cook slowly, stirring, until it boils.
Add flavoring.
Yields 1 2/3 cups.
