Cheesy Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. stoneground corn meal
    1 c. cream-style corn (best if fresh creamed corn, but canned is okay)
    1 c. sour cream
    1/3 c. vegetable oil
    2 eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, stirring by hand.
    Pour into well-greased 8-inch square pan or round cake pan.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 40 minutes until well browned.
    Allow to stand 10 minutes before cutting into squares or slices.
    Serves 6.
