Salmon Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. can salmon
    milk
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. whole wheat bread crumbs (cheese cracker crumbs)
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. onion, chopped
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Drain salmon into measuring cup. Add enough milk to salmon liquid to make 3/4 cup. Flake salmon, removing skin. Blend in egg. Stir in rest of ingredients. Spoon into lightly greased loaf pan or 1-quart baking dish. Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0. If you can mash the salmon bones and add to the mixture, your family will obtain additional calcium. Usually these are soft and easily mashed. Serves 4 to 6.
