Peanut Blossoms - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. milk
Hershey's candy Kisses

Preparation

In a large
bowl,
combine
all
ingredients except the candy Kisses.
Blend
at\tlow speed.
Shape into balls using a spoon to shape.
Roll balls in additional sugar.
Bake at 375\u00b0 on ungreased cookie
sheet
for 10 to 12 minutes.
Remove from oven and top each cookie immediately with a candy Kiss.\tPress down firmly so cookie
cracks
around
edges.
Makes
4 dozen cookies.
