Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes (put through a blender)
    2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
    2 c. water
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 lb. cottage cheese or Ricotta
    1 (8 oz.) box lasagna noodles
    8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
    1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    In skillet, brown beef and onion in olive oil. Add tomatoes, paste, water, salt, sugar, garlic salt and pepper. Simmer, uncovered,
    about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
