English Toffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    4 c. sugar
    chopped nuts
    1/2 c. water
    semi-sweet chocolate, melted
Preparation
    Melt butter under low fire.
    Add sugar and water; boil to 300\u00b0.
    Remove and pour into buttered pans.
    When cold, spread with warm melted chocolate and sprinkle with nuts.
