Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken (2 1/2 to 3 lb.), cut up
    4 c. water
    4 celery stalks, sliced
    3 carrots, sliced
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 1/2 tsp. sage, divided
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 c. biscuit mix
    3/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. milk
    1 Tbsp. minced parsley
Preparation
    Place chicken and water in a Dutch oven. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer; cook until chicken is tender, about 30 to 45 minutes.
